Role Summary

We are seeking a visionary and future-focused Vice President, NextGen A&R & Music Intelligence to redefine how talent is discovered, developed, and elevated in the era of innovative and powerful technology. This role sits at the cutting edge of artist development, advanced big data analytics and AI data scientist. You will lead a cross-functional effort to build artist-first strategies driven by real-time cultural insights, online data analysis, and proprietary AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify high-potential artists through data scientific models that analyze streaming behavior, social sentiment, sonic patterns, and cultural signals.
• Disrupt and redefine normal A&R Strategy with Data & AI
• Oversee track selection and artist development through predictive modeling, fan engagement analysis, and behavioral music data.
• Champion Ethical AI Collaboration with elite certified AI music producers with previous or current recording artists.
• Partner with CAMP-certified producers and engineers to honor artistic integrity while integrating generative AI tools to enhance sound and storytelling.
• Direct best-in-class Music Intelligence Platforms with the support of elite developers and tech engineers.
• Shape and evolve proprietary AI systems that guide A&R decisions, forecast trends, and expand creative boundaries.
• Explore innovative models to help artists of all genres grow their brands and catalog through data-informed release strategies and global localization
• Represent MGT as a voice at the forefront of AI and music — driving public dialogue and internal innovation around the future of sound, creativity, and technology.

What You Bring

• 8–12+ years of experience in A&R, music strategy, talent development, or creative direction
• Deep familiarity with music analytics, streaming data, and cultural forecasting
• Experience working with or leading AI, ML, or music intelligence tools
• Strong relationships across the music industry, especially among artists, producers, publishers, sync licensing and record labels.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams that merge music and technology.
• A passion for ethical innovation, creator-first models, and redefining what’s possible in music

Nice to Have

• Technical fluency in high-powered data analytics and advanced AI understanding
• Experience developing or deploying generative AI models in music or media

About the Role:

We’re seeking a dynamic Vice President, Artist Relations (VP, AR) to be the artist’s north star throughout their AI music journey. This role is rooted in listening, creative vision-mapping, and advocacy—ensuring that every artist’s brand, sound, and emotion is clearly understood and perfectly translated into our AI-driven music workflows.

As VP, AR, you’ll serve as the connective tissue between the artist’s imagination and our technical execution. You’ll guide ideation, manage expectation alignment, and help drive collaboration between creators and engineers to make the “impossible” real—without compromising artistic integrity. Our mission is to serve the IRL songwriters, recording artists, estates of legends' catalogs and maximize the intellectual property (IP) globally.

• Translate creative ideas into clear direction for our AI and engineering teams—ensuring all work is consistent with the artist’s brand and values.

We’re hiring a Vice President, Studio Production to lead the entire spectrum of our music production process—from concept to commercial-ready track. This is a hands-on executive leadership role for a technically skilled, creatively intuitive producer with deep experience in studio management, engineering, and artist relations.

You’ll oversee the full production pipeline: tracking, mixing, mastering, and session coordination—ensuring that every piece of music created at MGT is polished, emotionally resonant, and sonically world-class. You'll also serve as the primary production liaison for IRL recording artists during in-studio sessions, creating an inspiring and professional environment while managing expectations and delivering final mixes that meet both creative and technical standards.

What You'll Do:

• Lead all phases of studio music production: tracking, editing, mixing, mastering, and post-production

• Supervise a distributed team of engineers, producers, and post-production specialists across genres

• 10+ years of experience in commercial music production

You’ll partner closely with top artists, studio engineers and songwriters to design, prototype, and deploy AI-driven pre-production music.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and execute music production workflows using AI platforms (e.g., Suno, Udio, Riffusion, AIVA, etc.)
• Collaborate with vocalists, musicians, producers, and engineers to develop commercially viable tracks
• Guide the creative prompting process to align AI output with brand/artist identity
• Fine-tune AI-generated stems with traditional DAWs (e.g., Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton)
• Extensive usage of other music AI software (e.g., Moises, Kits.AI)
• Co-produce original work with signed artists into multiple genres meant for geo-release.
